Baby Landry {1 Year + Rooks Family}
It is always a fun time when I meet up with the Rooks Family for a portrait session & this was no exception! We have had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family since it first started with Jason & Jennifer's wedding in 2008. We then did the first birthday of their oldest, Leland (see his here) and their second, Laken (see his here) and now we have baby brother Landry's first birthday! With it being colder now we opted for the greenhouse at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens and we were lucky enough to have a beautiful day! The Mathews Family
I've known the Mathews Family for years since I've been photographing at their venue Mathews Manor since I started my business. So when they asked me to do their family portraits last weekend of course I was thrilled to work with them again! We started in downtown Springville for some cute shots then ended up in Micah's Meadow at Mathews Manor. Here are a few of my favorites from their session! (Oh and I did get a group photo of everyone but they asked me to keep it a secret for their Christmas cards!) Happy Holidays everyone!
Trey + Ginger {Oak Mtn Engagement}
A native Alabamian, Trey brought his bride-to-be Ginger home for Thanksgiving & they wanted to get some engagement photos made while they were here. They called me & as luck would have it, our chosen day was perfect not just weather-wise but also for all the fall color they wanted in their portraits! Being from Texas, Ginger had not seen such color so I'm especially glad Alabama was still full of color for fall - she was so excited! This sweet couple will have their wedding in Texas next winter & we wish them all the best! Congratulations!
Herring Family Portrait
What could be more fitting than to do a family portrait on the day after Thanksgiving! The Herring family met me out at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens for a fun session & while it was a bit chilly, we still managed to get some great shots!
